12th September 2021 – Flatford Mill

This week it was our annual task of clearing the Mill Pond at Flatford working along side Dave Piper. A few brave volunteers hopped into the pond to remove reeds and other vegetation. The Reed mace growth has not been as prolific as in previous years therfore we managed to clear a channel all the way down stream from the Mill Pond to the river. A small group also took on the task of hedge cutting and removing orange balsam from the river bank.
