15th August 2021 – Copt Hall Marshes

A great turnout in the heat, for our second visit of the year to Copt Hall Marshes. This time we progressed onto another barn and yard, to show it some tlc, and begin recovering it from nature!

It could not have been a better day for our summer barbecue, which was a real team effort – particularly from Team Cornes and Team Bennet! It was funded entirely by generous individual contributions – and very much appreciated by all of us!

As we moved into the afternoon, the sun and very physical work did slow us down, but we reclaimed a large section of the yard, made a great improvement to the general appearance, and saved the fencing task for another (cooler!) day
