16th January 2022 – Backwarden Danbury

This week we returned to Backwarden Danbury for the first task of 2022. We continued our work removing silver birch saplings and gorse to encourage the regrowth of heather to the reserve. Despite a very slow start we managed to burn all that was cut down. We welcomed Stephen another new volunteer. Many thanks for everyones continued hard work which is now starting to be visible in this area.
