1st November 2020 – Lower Barn Farm
Sunday was our second post-‘furlough’ task, and we returned to Lower Barn Farm in Dedham. We didn’t quite pick up where we left off, because we moved on to the next field – cutting more scrub, back to the fence line. We opened up a bonfire – which burned well, despite the damp conditions – and cleared a lot of the waste
In addition, we had the use of the tractor, which we used to gather up the waste from last task, and begin to open up the drainage ditch. This will help to restore features of the farm, and habitat for wildlife. Thanks everyone for the hard work, and for supporting the Covid safety measures!
