31st July 2016 – Ickworth Park

For this task we once again worked on the maintenance of the walled garden, lending a hand to the regular Ickworth volunteers who obviously have their work work cut out in keeping this large garden looking its best! We made a big difference to some small areas of the garden: we finished off trimming of the hedge, weeded the redcurrant bed, the marrows/asparagus, and the dahlias, as well as tying up the remaining dahlias.
