11th September 2016 – Ickworth Park

On Sunday we had just about perfect weather – sunny but not too hot – to tackle the pesky laurels at Ickworth Park. They seem to have grown much bigger than when we cut them back last year, and many had brambles weaving through them which presented an extra challenge. Despite this, everyone worked hard and cut down a lot of laurel. Unfortunately, like weeding, it is a never-ending task as they will be back next year!

Thanks to everyone who came!
