9th October 2016 – Kyson Hill

Despite a lower turnout than last year, we managed to get a lot done today at Kyson Hill. The morning started by clearing the logs and branches that were cut off the large oak. This emergency tree surgery was done to give the tree the best chance of surviving Oak Dieback. After this a small team went to repair the steps down to the river path, while others raked the grass which had been mown earlier in the month.

Well done to everyone who worked hard today – despite the occasional downpour!
