14th January 2018 – Ickworth

Our first task of the year was coppicing at Ickworth, working in Geraldine’s Walk, not far from the main house. We working to chop down the hazel into lengths suitable for use as supports in the walled garden.

It was a good turnout, and everyone worked hard, keen to get back to the graft of a task! Thanks to everyone who came, and thanks to Ickworth for the hot drinks and cakes at the end of the day!
