2nd December 2018 – Ickworth House

A return to coppicing along Geraldine’s Walk in front of the main house. We coppiced an area here on our first task of 2018, and that is already growing back. This time we coppiced an area adjacent to the earlier one, removing most of the growth of willow and hazel. It doesn’t look a large amount when it is growing, but many are very tall, and it generated some large piles of brush and logs!

Well done everyone – Ickworth were once again impressed with what we got done.
