16th December 2018 – Pin Mill

For our last task of the year, and our annual Sausage Sizzle, we were at Pin Mill. The job for the day was to start to clear an area of pine in the woodland. This mainly involved removing the lower branches of the trees to allow more light in, and to make it easier to fell them. We also began to remove some of the smaller trees. At lunchtime we enjoyed some sausages provided by Lewis and cooked by Adam and Miles on the barbecue.
