ESNTV Tasks

3rd March 2019 – Flatford

This task involved playing our part in the planting of 2000 trees in a relatively recently acquired area of Flatford. Other teams had already planted a large number, and we were able to add quite a few more on this wet and windy day (quite a contrast to Orford Ness just one week earlier!).

The exact number planted by us is unknown, but a rough estimate put it at least 400, possibly more. As Lindsey put it on an earlier post, all these photos are really “before” photos, as hopefully in a few decades this whole area will be a wonderful woodland with a large number of varieties of trees and other vegetation thriving.

Well done everyone for working hard as always!
