ESNTV Tasks

12th May 2019 – Ickworth House

It was time for the dahlias in the walled garden to be uncovered, and this job fell to SNTV once again. The straw used to keep the dahlias warm over winter had taken root, and grown up under the fleece which had not been weighed down. This gave us plenty of weeding to do! Fortunately the fresh straw pulled up quite easily. The bed also needed edging. After a day of hard work, most of the weeds had been cleared, hopefully clearing the way for the dahlias to grow.
