18th August 2019 – Ickworth Park

In the Albana there is a long, tall hedge that needs removing, so who do Ickworth call upon to get the job done? SNTV of course! We started at one end, moving down the path cutting down the hedge that runs along the inside of the Albana walk. It was then carried away for the brush bits to be burnt, and any trunks/branches that were straightish kept in so they can be sold – box that is decades old (some 100+ years) is apparently quite valuable! We return in 2 weeks time to continue this job, and possibly again after that if needs be!
