ESNTV Tasks

22nd May 2022 – Northey Island

We made a welcome return to Northey Island to continue our work there. The new bird hide needed another coat of stain and some skilled finishing touches and by the end of the day looked fabulous! Some of the group did another litter pick along the shoreline with some very interesting finds!

A new hedgerow that had previously been planted had been engulfed by long grass and weeds and needed to be freed so that the protective layer of mulch could be laid. The wood chip mulch was recycled from previously laid pathways. The weather was beautiful although this did make it hard work in the hot sunshine. Many thanks to everyone for their continued hard work and to those that supplied photographs and of course the cake maker.
