24th July 2022 – Danbury Common

On Sunday 24th we gathered with Matt the Ranger at Danbury Common to carry out a walk through ecological survey using transects of 1 meter squared every 10 meters across the open Common. It was an extremely hot day and noticeable that most of the floura was dry and had already gone to seed. Because of this there was a significant difference in the amount of species recorded.
