ESNTV Tasks

25th September 2022 – Ickworth

We made a very welcome return to Ickworth House for our task this week where we had the pleasure of working with James again.
Some of the group spent the day cutting back overgrowth of Box and Bramble along the fence line on the Oak Walk in preparation for the annual Light Nights and others cut down areas of our old friend Laurel which had overgrown and was preventing light getting to the ground where smaller spring time plants had struggled to grow. All that was cut down was removed and taken to a clearing on The Albana Walk for storage. This would then be removed by tractor to the fire site to be burned at a later date.
Many thanks to everyone for their continued hard work and to those contributing to the album.
