ESNTV Tasks

30th September 2018 – Flatford Mill

One week later than originally planned due to poor weather conditions, we returned to Flatford Mill for our annual clearance of the Mill Pond. The conditions were much better today, though the water was still quite cold!

The summer of sun meant that there was quite a lot of growth in the main part of the pond, so we had our work cut out for us, especially as we were without our main pond wader, Phil, following his recent op!

The task was followed by a tree planting in memory of DIck Chequer, the much-missed former member of the group.

Well done and thank you to all who came out today and worked hard to keep the pond looking good for another year.
