6th June 2021 – Thorington Hall

This task – we returned to Thorington Hall, to support gardener Lisa. Once again, we helped to blitz the grounds whilst the Hall was vacant between bookings. Tasks included gardening and weeding to really tidy them up, cutting back overgrowth, and further pressure washing and staining the outdoor furniture – plus I expect much more!

We were very limited with places on this task, so could only invite volunteer cardholders. Even then we had several on the waiting list, and we’re sorry that people had to miss out. Great work from those that attended to make up for that! We will continue to work with the Trust to offer as many places as we safely can.
