ESNTV Tasks

23rd April- Flatford

This week we returned to Flatford working alongside Countryside manager Dave Piper. We were tasked with replacing a stretch of fencing. The work involved removing and replacing posts, strainers and the wire fence. The weather was very variable with sunshine and showers initially but unfortunately it didn’t last long and heavy rain settled in and by the end of the day we were all soaked! We welcomed two new volunteers and some returning ones and  with everyone’s hard work and despite the grim weather conditions we achieved our goal and completed a new smart line of fencing ensuring the current residents of the field and their new lambs remained safe! Thank you to all who provided photos.
